(scene: 2:00 p.m. Somewhere, New Mexico. Pixel calling friend Alethea to confirm movie plans for tonight. Pixel dials, walks around as the phone rings, and finds a package addressed to him on the dinner table)

Alethea: Hello?
Pixel: Oh, my god it’s a SOCK!!!
Alethea: What?
Pixel: A Sock, a SOCK!!! I just got a sock in the mail!
Alethea: He heh… what?
Pixel: I got a sock in the mail from Canada!
Alethea: From who?
Pixel: A Canadian!
Alethea: (Why did I ask?)
Pixel: A sock in the mail! I just got a sock in the mail!
Alethea: Have you opened it?
Pixel: No.
Alethea: Then how do you know it’s a sock?
Pixel: In the ‘Detailed description of contents’ section it says, “Sock”
Alethea: Oh.
Pixel: And it says ‘a gift’ and ‘11 grams!’
Alethea: Hm.
Pixel: YEAH!! Oh, and also Kris and Jessy want to go see a movie.
Alethea: Ha ha. I was wondering if that was why’d you’d called.
Pixel: I got a sock in the mail from Canada!
Alethea: (oh, brother…)
