I liken it to quicksilver

I’m a grown up. Honest!

How old do you have to be to start buying your own clothes?

Yesterday my mum came home with three pairs of pants and a vest… for me. Then I realized that in the past three or four years, all of my new clothes have come in the form of gifts.

Apparently, I dress in such a way that my mum, all of my aunts, and some of my female friends want to clothe me.

I would complain, if I didn’t detest going shopping so much..

Oh, and how old do you have to be for your mum to stop reading out loud to you?

Or is that just my mum that can’t get through a passage unless someone else is in the room with her… :-S

  1. Well, my mother doesn’t often go shopping for me any more. She’s finally learnt that if I don’t like it, I won’t wear it, and the only way we will know if I like it is if I’m there. (The number of times she’s taken me, and tried to buy something I’ll never touch… *shudder*)

  2. Just like going through Kant or other asshat philosophers without saying the word “fuck.” But your mom doesn’t want to traumatize you.
