Get it?
- I’ve decided I don’t like the number 2008. So, in order to make it acceptable, I’m just going to call it 2007 pt. 2. Or maybe 2007: Director’s Cut. Definitely something though.
- p.s. I calculated how many words fit on a pound of paper: 100,000. (20# paper, reasonable margins, front and back) This means that my project of ‘read my weight in books’ actually amounts to reading 20,000,000 words, which is 54,644 words per day or about 2 novels every three days…. this is going to be an interesting year.
2008
By Pixel at January 1, 2008 at 12:01 am. Filed in top listsThis year I’m going to go back and finish up all of my old resolutions that I never accomplished. Here’s the list:
- Go back to Australia… even if I have to sell my blood to do it
- Read my weight in books
- Go to at least one concert, one roadtrip, one vacation, one date, move twice, and talk to at least three strangers
- Finish the Great American Novel
- Save someone’s life
- Buy furniture, even if it’s just a bean bag
- Memorize five more poems, pi, or learn the nations of the world
- Paint/fix my car
- Make a new true friend, but be a good friend to all the old
- Probably something having to do with women… or cantaloupe
- Produce a comic… or at least paint something
- Buff out
- Get a job
- Be a grad student
- Sell my car / buy a new one
- Help my cousin emigrate
- Write 100 works of necroautobiographical microfiction
- _______________ Audience may fill in the blank here.
… wow. After looking over my past list of unaccomplished resolutions, I sort of hate myself.
Last Year: 2007
