68. Whenever I hear that people voted for Bush in 2004, I sort of lose a little bit of respect for them. Wasn’t there enough information out by then for everyone to have made an informed decision? *sigh*

So I was hanging around with my friend Daniel and his gf Ana yesterday when they told me about how they had been summoned for jury duty.

Pixelation
I’ve never had jury duty.

Ana
Don’t say that, that’s what I said, and the very next day, I received a letter summoning me for jury duty.

Pixelation
That’s the post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy! Just because something happened after something else, doesn’t make it true. Humans look for patterns in everything, even when nothing exists. That’s what all superstitions are based on!

Daniel
Yeah, well, still. You’ll see. I just said “I’ve never had jury duty” and bam! Then I did.

Pixelation
I, Pixel Q. Styx, have NEVER had jury duty
